It’s time for another Where in the World Wednesday. Each week I will be posting a photo from my travels along with a little trivia and will invite you to guess the destination.
This week’s location is home to the world’s largest tram network and has been ranked as the world’s most livable city. It holds the honor of hosting the first Olympic Games ever held in the southern hemisphere. Of the many displays of public art located throughout the city my personal favorite was the fountain shown below which served as a canvas for a street artist who created a portrait from fallen leaves. Where in the World Am I?
If you’ve been fortunate to visit this most livable city consider yourself Spoiled! If you are suffering from case of wanderlust then quit daydreaming and start planning your next voyage. The world awaits. Start exploring. Spoil yourself!
If you’ve been fortunate to visit this beautiful city share your experience with us. And consider yourself Spoiled! If you have not yet visited this week’s corner of the globe then I invite you to live vicariously through me. It is my sincere hope that by sharing my travels I will inspire each of you to pack your bags, hit the road and get another stamp in your passport. The world awaits. Start exploring. Spoil yourself!

Okay. I think I've got it! I won't mention it, though. Going to give others a chance. Would love to visit there sometime!

I got it, but only because I know entirely too much about the Olympics.

Must be another place in Australia – what else can fit the most livable place definition??
Paul – Sydney is one of my all time favorite cities! Not quite, but you're getting warm 😉
Maia you are correct – it is in Australia & I agree it is one of the most livable places 🙂

can I look on a Map? LOL
Hi Bobbi! Sure, maps are allowed 😉
From the comments here on facebook & over on the blog it seems like a few of you figured out that Melbourne, Australia was location of the week. This photo is of the John Mockridge Fountain on Collins St at City Square right in the heart of Melbourne. A beautiful city filled with art that is easy to explore by foot or by tram.
