Here is a quick secret to staying fit while anywhere in the world. I put a large towel on my hotel room floor, and I do a combination of 300 sit ups and 50 pushups.
Then I put my favorite song on my iPod and dance like I’m in the Britney video. Nah…ok…I don’t dance as good as her backup dancers, but the secret is to move!! From dancing to your favorite song, to pretending like you’re doing your own Flash Dance video (for all you 80s fans) or just doing jumping jacks, get your heart rate up while listening to your favorite songs! I usually do 3 songs which equals around 10 minutes.
Now if you’re like me, I hated pushups and situps, Dave taught me to love the easier version and do crunches, 25 at a time with a break in between! And pushups, my arms were never strong. So go to the bathroom counter, and do semi standing pushups with your arms on the counter. Or do half pushups on your knees.
I don’t care how you do it. You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great!!
