Todo Santos

Posted on 08 April 2008

Todo Santos was just an hour or so south of La Paz on the Pacific side of Baja California Sur.  When we first saw the sign, we thought it was only going to be a few run down shacks- similar to the villages we’d seen between Mazatlan and Topolobampo.  We immediately noticed the landscape- thick jungle with more palm trees than I’ve ever seen crowded together as far as the eye can see.  It was really beautiful.

The town itself was very charming, very quaint.  The buildings in the tourist section were painted in bright colors with white borders and there were plenty of opportunities for shopping.  Art galleries, souvenirs, pottery- we couldn’t help but pick up a few items here as well.
