La Paz, Mexico

Posted on 08 April 2008

La Paz was absolutely beautiful.  The waters were clear, turquoise, and tranquil.  The beaches were fine white sand, with palapas available for shade.  The boardwalk (malecon) was perfect for an early morning jog and photo opps.   We stopped for breakfast at a busy outside restaurant and had a great Mexican breakfast that cost us about $20 but would have been $50 in the states.

After this, we drove inland a few blocks to take photos of the famous cathedral and historic buildings.  We didn’t stay too long though.  We figured La Paz is only a few hours north of Los Cabos and since we’ll be living there, we’ll have plenty of opportunities to visit.
